This week the Ride is taking a detour to St. Louis Church in Memphis TN, home of Feed My Flock. On October 21st approximately 800 Church volunteers assembled and packaged 150,000 meals including 100,000 meals that were donated to our patients and families in Serabu, Sierra Leone. In seven years, FMF has processed over 1 million meals. It is a tremendous help to our mission efforts as many of our patients come from the surrounding six countries and have walked for days to get to Serabu. They arrive hungry, with no money, and this is a miracle answer to their needs. Women of Serabu volunteer to cook the food twice a day (see attached video) while patients stay in Serabu and our staff is distributing more food to departing patients to feed them on their trip home. In the course of each mission trip we cook and distribute nearly 50,000 meals. All of the meals have been loaded on our supply container bound for Serabu.

At this half-way point, I also want to update the Ride donations. Last week was amazing as over $23,000 was donated taking our total donations from all sources to over $25,000. We continue to be amazed by the generosity of our family and friends. Thanks to all of you.
